Walt Disney Pictures is teaming with Twilight co-production company Temple Hill Entertainment to bring the best-selling Aprilynne Pike novel Wings to the silver screen. The film is being developed for Miley Cyrus to play the leading role of Laurel, a 15-year-old girl who grows up sheltered and home-schooled in a small town. Miley Cyrus' mother Tish will also Executive Produce. The Disney auditions information will be posted as available.

Pike's novel is the first of a planned four-book series, and is expected to become a film franchise vehicle for Miley Cyrus.
