Disney Channel UK and Ireland is conducting a talent search for kids who are passionate about performing, aged 12-16, super-talented and have some serious star quality. Whether you have had prior training, or are more used to singing along with your favorite CD - this is your chance to shine.

Unique Television is making a series for Disney Channel and is managing the casting process for this Disney Channel Talent Search. Unique Television was the production company behind My Camp Rock, a British singing competition based on the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, and was aired on Disney Channel UK from April 3, 2009 to April 25, 2009. Andy Bird, now Chairman of Walt Disney International, started and operated Unique Television in 1992.

Applicants should be able to sing & dance, have bags of personality and an ambition to one day become a rock/pop star! Those eventually chosen will appear in a series to be produced by Unique Television between May and September 2010 and broadcast exclusively on Disney Channel UK & Ireland during August and September 2010.

To apply for the Disney casting, you will need to be aged between 12 and 16 on October 1st, 2010. Send in a video performance - some footage of yourself performing. A good video is simply introducing yourself and singing any contemporary song.

The applicant must complete an Application Form and their parent or legal guardian MUST sign to verify that they approve their child applying for an audition. Also be sure to include photographs of the applicant.

They will receive thousands of Video Performances for this casting, so unfortunately cannot return any tapes / DVDs / photographs they receive. Nor can they offer any feedback at any stage of the application. Successful applicants will be contacted by Unique Television and invited to audition. As this will be a very popular opportunity they can only contact successful applicants. Please do not contact Unique Television or Disney Channel to check the status of your application. If you have not heard from them by the end of April 2010 then you haven't been successful this time.
